Are you wondering how to go about ordering a wedding cake? Then why not book a Consultation andcome and meet me and my cakes. I am based in Bishopston, BS7, and provide evening and weekend appointments to fit in with your working arrangements. The appointment is free of charge and takes about an hour. Over a nice cup of tea or coffee and most importantly, some seriously tasty cake sampling, you will be able to relax and discuss your ideas and aspirations, and the first steps to creating the spectacular wedding cake of your dreams will have been taken.
I love turning great ideas into beautiful reality
The creative process in designing your cake and coming up with ideas based on your preferences is so much fun and very rewarding. I will be able to answer any questions you may have, and suggest ideas and options to make your cake truly unique. I have a variety of display cakes on view in my consulting room to give you an idea of the size options and how your cake might actually look when it is all set up at your venue. You will also be able to view a variety of
cake stands and pieces of vintage china which are available to hire, as well as pretty ribbons, sugar flowers and cake jewellery that may inspire you.
~ Don't panic, you will be under no obligation to place an order, following your consultation I will email though the details of everything we discussed together with a quotation to help you make up your mind. Most couples thoroughly enjoy the consultation part of the process and frequently return for subsequent meetings to finalise their designs or sample more delicious flavours, some bring mums and dads, sisters, friends and bridesmaids, children are also welcome, although do bring something to keep your little ones amused while we chat. I very much enjoy meeting my valued wedding couples face to face and you can have as many appointments as you wish in order to perfect your wedding cake design right down to the very last detail.
When should we book our consultation/wedding cake?
It's never too early to start planning your wedding cake, and if you do decide you would like me to make it for you it is crucial to save your date in my diary. Some months in 2015 are already fully booked and the diary is open for 2016. My kitchen is run without assistance from staff so I do need to limit the number of weddings I am comfortably able to cater for during peak wedding season in order to give every cake the care and attention to detail it deserves. Don't leave it too late to book. To avoid disappointment please
